Age Restriction & Children's Privacy

You must be at least 18 years old to use SocialCue. The youngest age bracket we offer at registration is 18–22. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older. This requirement is also stated in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

SocialCue is intended solely for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Persons under 18 are prohibited from creating an account or using the Service in any capacity.

You may not create an account if you are under 18, and you may not create one on behalf of anyone under 18. Misrepresenting your age is a violation of our Terms and grounds for immediate termination.

Age is self-declared as a bracket at registration (18–22, 23–27, 28–32, 33–37, 38–44, 45–54, 55+). We do not collect your date of birth, and we do not verify age with identity documents or any age-verification technology. We rely on your representation that you are 18 or older, together with the removal process below.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will disable and delete it, and delete the associated personal information, without notice. This is a form of age-related account termination and is at our discretion.

If you believe a person under 18 has created an account or provided us personal information, contact us immediately at legal@socialcue.co with the account’s display name or email address and a description of your relationship to the minor. We will investigate promptly, remove the account, and delete the associated personal information. We may ask for limited additional information to locate the account and confirm the request, and we will use it only for that purpose.

Because SocialCue is intended only for adults, we do not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we delete it. We do not create profiles of, or direct any feature toward, children.

We will post changes to this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
